Review: **Merge Dragons! Gift Codes: A Community Perspective on Current Gameplay Issues**

Merge Dragons! used to be my absolute favorite game. The thrill of merging various dragon breeds, participating in engaging events, and cultivating my camp brought me endless joy. However, the recent changes have left a sour taste in my mouth. One of the most enjoyable aspects of the game, the Den event, has been removed, leaving players with repetitive events that lack excitement. The novelty has worn off, and it feels like we are stuck in a cycle of monotony.

Moreover, the transition from a free-to-play model to one heavy on in-app purchases is concerning. It seems that everything now comes with a price tag. The fun of merging various items and dragons has been overshadowed by the pressure to spend real money to make significant progress. I find myself hesitating to play, wondering if my time is really worth it anymore.

One particular issue that has gotten under my skin is the frustration related to Ezras Grave. After merging statues, the game is stuck, and I see the “in progress” message without any advancement. Resetting might help, but it costs precious chalices, and I find myself losing every level afterward. This problem feels like a broken promise after so much time invested in the game.

On the brighter side, I must admit the variety of dragons continues to capture my interest. The new season pass is reasonably priced, offering an opportunity to obtain higher-tier dragons through playing events. However, while it’s nice to have new dragons, the camp space is a constant issue. With around 70 dragons enriching my experience, the limited space fills up quickly, turning what should be a relaxing merge experience into a frustrating organizational task.

As much as I appreciate the game, the overwhelming number of useless element mystery boxes that yield barely any profit is a headache. I wish the developers would focus on providing better egg storage options. It seems excessive to have so many mystery boxes filled with just one coin destined for selling. Improved Wonders and limiting the size of those would allow for more effective resource harvests instead of cluttering our camps with unnecessarily large objects.

Furthermore, the introduction of “pay to open” chests has been a significant turn-off. Many times, these chests provide little in return, disrupting my gameplay and making me question the overall balance of the game. These annoyances lead to an increasingly negative experience. The frequency of these new chests has prompted me to play less, as I find handling their presence draining.

Additionally, the constant glitches and freezing of the game are concerning. Nothing is more frustrating than making significant progress only to find everything wiped as if it never happened. I’ve experienced losing countless hours of gameplay; the thought of starting from scratch is disheartening.

Finally, I truly believe the developers need to rethink how many mini-games are available at once. The feeling of being overwhelmed makes it challenging to enjoy the core game mechanics. My camp should be a place of peace and creativity, not just a contest of who can keep up with endless events and collections.

In conclusion, while I still appreciate the aesthetic and foundational ideas behind Merge Dragons!, the recent changes have prompted me to rethink my investment in the game. My wish list includes better storage solutions, a reduction in unnecessary chests, and an overall effort to make the experience fun again rather than a chore. Until those changes are made, I might just have to step away and reconsider my relationship with this once-beloved game.
