Review: I initially found the Knives Out game very appealing due to its extensive customization options. However, my experience quickly soured as I realized the game felt fake, almost like a scam. The prevalence of bots was glaringly evident—stand motionless in front of an opponent in Battle Royale, and you won’t even lose half your health. Winning becomes inevitable unless the ring ends you. The gameplay is plagued by severe lag, unrelated to WiFi or device capability, as my high-end phone still struggles with frame rates as low as 29-35 FPS. Glitches are rampant, with floating cars being a frequent problem that needs urgent fixing. Moreover, the game suffers from low internet connection issues and troubles downloading resources. Why do the enemies seem like elite players while my teammates appear to be bots? This imbalance, along with the game’s cultural and language barriers for non-Chinese or Japanese speakers, further diminishes the experience. Despite great graphics and smooth gameplay for some, English speakers like me face accessibility issues. The lag is a major drawback, with my ping consistently around 150ms. While Knives Out offers a refreshing take on Battle Royale games, resolving these issues would substantially improve the gaming experience.
