Review: Grand Truck Simulator 2 has captured the hearts of many players worldwide, myself included, and for good reason. The features offered in this game are absolutely fantastic, with realistic weather effects that truly enhance the experience, especially during rainstorms where the ambiance goes beyond just visual appeal. I can’t even count how many times I’ve downloaded this captivating game throughout the year; it’s become a staple entertainment option for me. However, as much as I adore the gameplay and overall concept, I believe the developers should continue to invest time and resources into regular updates to keep things fresh and exciting.

While the game is fantastic, I can’t help but hope for additional features in future updates. For example, the ability to select jobs while in free mode would be a welcomed addition. At times, the pickup destination can be annoyingly far, causing players to miss out on crucial time bonuses. It would significantly improve the gameplay experience if this could be addressed. Furthermore, introducing new truck types, such as livestock lorries, would enhance the diversity and excitement of the game as well. If the developers could consider these suggestions, it would undoubtedly lead to a better game overall—thank you!

Having been a fan of this game for years, I must say it remains a wonderful experience. Nevertheless, I would love to see more realistic truck designs, particularly an expanded range of dump trucks. Moreover, the introduction of a multiplayer mode would take the fun to an entirely new level. Just imagine being able to drive alongside friends or compete with other players! It’s these enhancements that I believe could elevate the already impressive Grand Truck Simulator 2 into an even more engaging experience.

Delving deeper into the gameplay mechanics, I find the sound of the trucks and trailers to be truly remarkable, and the graphics are generally impressive; however, one notable gap exists—where’s the driver? Whenever I reverse, it becomes quite humorous to see no one in the driving seat, which is a bit disconcerting. Addressing this would bring an added layer of realism to the game.

In terms of gameplay balance, there are a few areas that require attention. For instance, increasing tire grip would substantially improve driving dynamics, as purchasing expensive tires with inadequate grip feels counterintuitive. Also, allowing players to toggle traction control and ABS would enhance driving experiences and add a strategic layer to navigating challenging terrains. Another point of frustration is the inability of the game to save progress upon quitting. I’ve lost significant earnings due to crashes, and this can be demotivating.

Furthermore, the current mechanics around the selling and purchasing of trucks could use some tweaking. The prices for selling trucks often feel disproportionately low, and owning more than one truck without the option to hire a driver can be frustrating as well. I strongly believe that these features, along with a more robust vehicle damage system, could transform the realism and enjoyment of the experience.

Lastly, as I look forward to upcoming updates, I can’t help but desire more variety in terms of vehicles. Adding features like urban environments, new cities, and a comprehensive music integration would not only enrich the gameplay but also eliminate moments of monotony. For those who enjoy driving simulators, Grand Truck Simulator 2 remains one of the best games available, but with continued improvements, it could become a truly unparalleled experience that stands the test of time.
